Accessibility
When we speak of accessibility at the Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR),
we are not simply referring to the Handicap Accessibility in compliance
with ADA regulations - we're referring to easy accessibility for EVERYONE.
Our double automatic doors open wide so that everyone has easy, hassle-free
access from the time you drive up to the front door to the time your plane
departs. And you'll enjoy the same hassle-free environment when you return.
Statement of Accessibility
In accordance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Washington
County Government's programs and services are open to and usable by all
persons. Hagerstown Regional Airport's terminal building was constructed
to standards addressed in the Accessibility Guidelines of the ACT (ADAAG).
A passenger boarding lift was added to the services provided by HGR in October,
1999.
