Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting [A.R.F.F.]

The Airport crash rescue fleet consists of One Rapid Intervention Vehicle(RIV) at the Terminal and an OshKosh T-12 Crash Truck parked in the Airport maintenance facility. A free-standing Fire Station is nearing the 90% design phase. If built, this station will be located next to the terminal off Showalter.

The station will accomodate both crash rescue vehicles as well as the Washington County maintained Mass Casualty Trailer. Airfield A.R.F.F. is supported by the Northrop Grumman Corporation Fire Department, Maugansville Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding volunteer fire and rescue companies in Washington and Franklin Counties.
